Meanings - Daggers / Knife

Dagger and Knife - At its most primal level, the knife or dagger represents Death. The knife or dagger represents ferocity, quickness, tenacity and death at the hands of another.

 

In the ancient time men began to shake hands when greeting to demonstrate to show that he isent holding or hiding a dagger. Some sayings like "stabbed in the back", represent a person who was being betrayed, taken unaware from behind by someone usually close. This weapon also have their place in romance sayings like !stabbed in the heart" representing someone that was been betrayed by someone that he/she loves.

 

Dripping Blood - Can mean "I have my weapon and know how to use it." reprsenting a person that does not lower the head to other people, ready to take action, because he is brave and unafraid. It is the sign of a person not to be taken lightly.

 

Though a Skull - represent Death. Its often used as a protective amulet used to repel a knife attack.

 

Through the Heart -  betrayal in love or infidelity. It may also indicate a irony about romances and true love.

 

Through a Human Head - used by soldiers in the war to represent their enemies head.

 

Holding in its Teeth - Means that this person is ready to action. Usually you see skulls, demons and othe heads holding it with his teeth to represent power and terror. 

 

Through the skin - means that this person has already been wounded by something in his life, or at least think that he will be some time or another. A reminder that life isent so easy and sometimes its hard and unfair.
