Meanings - Comedy / Tragedy Masks

COMEDY / TRAGEDY MASKS - with an expression of joy in one and sorrow on teh another, this is the pair of theatrical masks best known around the world. The masks are from the comic and tragic muses, Melpomene and Thalia, from the ancient Greek theater. These characters masks wore used so the audience can easily identify their emotions. Today, this pair of masks symbolizes the passion for live theater. As tattoos those masks suggest that the wearer is a dramatic actor, or is somehow involved with the production of live theater. Otherwise, can also say: "I am a passionate person." Certainly, the masks indicate a personality to express the widest range of emotions, perhaps manic-depressive proportions.
