Meanings - Spider

Spider -  as spiders can travel long distances using their webs as parachutes and also use their webs to surreptitiously capture their victims, their are a strong symbol of independence, astuteness, intellingence and strategy, they inspire fear and revulsion, quite undeserved.

 

Spiders are also seem as a symbol of fertility, balance and harmony, and is often personified as teacher and protector of wisdom, and also as a mark of creativity and cunning, and when found dangling at the end of its thread, see it as a symbol of good luck, because it's thought to be bringing down joy from heaven.
