Swallows n Daggers is a blog that focuses on traditional and neo-traditional tattooing, promoting both well-known and emerging tattooers. Through art, conventions, shows and publications, SnD aims to produce content that will both preserve the history of tattooing, as well as look to its future.

Began on the 13th of February 2009 by Cian David Wright as a simple blogspot blog. The first post was a video interview of Tony Hundahl. Since then it's moved to it's own dedicated server, with it's own domain and a full website with forums, interviews, articles, tattooer profiles and news. It currently receives in the region of 125,000 hits per month which is a vast change from it's humble beginnings. Swallows&Daggers released it's first print magazine in August 2009 and attended the London Tattoo Convention that September to promote it. From there we've worked all the major UK tattoo conventions and managed to release a further two issues with a new one out every 6 months.We're also breaking into European conventions and plan to eventually attend conventions in the US and Australia. We released our first shirt for the Dublin Convention in November 2009. Designed by Simon Erl it was the start of a move into a small clothing line. We've released two further shirts since and aims to release another 4 in September 2010. We plan to move from strength to strength with new challenges and goals before us.
